New Wheremark iPhone app: Augmented Reality for the iPhone done right

WhereMark is a practical application designed to enhance the way users experience their environment in everyday situations. WhereMark will find users their next meal, get them to the nearest subway, lead them to a museum and remember where their cars are parked. Users can even create their own augmented reality by saving wheremarks that will help them remember a new nightspot or a favorite place in the park. The Visor displays wheremarks floating over reality; simply tap the wheremark for more details, such as address or phone number.
WhereMark is a quick reference tool that will allow users to explore and learn with Wikipedia entries and local search. Explore the surroundings and augment reality by category: Bar, Dining, Museum, Landmark, Subway, Bus, and Train. Users can also search the area using keywords, like books or coffee, and then call or get directions right from the app. When the perfect wheremark is found, search results can be saved right to the phone.
As a travel companion, WhereMark will get users going to the nearest subway, bus or train. Access a 2-D map for reference or navigation. Around the globe, WhereMark will quench thirst by delivering users to a bar or satisfy curiosity by leading them to a museum.
WhereMark is a powerful engine that can drive almost any augmented reality application. Contact us to augment your reality.
