Claro Launches the 3G-enabled BlackBerry Bold Smartphone in Chile
Santiago de Chile - For those who like to be at the forefront of technology, Claro, a subsidiary of America Movil, introduces the BlackBerry® Bold™ from Research In Motion (RIM) in Latin America – the first 3G BlackBerry smartphone with support for HSDPA and EDGE networks, as well as built-in Wi-Fi®, giving customers powerful mobile capabilities that can be used around the world. With an elegant design enhanced by high-speed performance, a remarkably sharp display and an incredibly effective keyboard, the new BlackBerry Bold enhances the exceptional communications experience that BlackBerry customers love, along with a new desktop-style point-and-click web browser, rich multimedia capabilities and GPS for satellite-based navigation.

The BlackBerry Bold smartphone features high-speed 3G support together with a powerful 624 MHz processor and an exceptionally sharp display with 480×320 pixel resolution at 217 ppi, making it easy and very fast to browse the Internet, download attachments or watch streaming video with excellent quality.
